Note: To Fischtivarians Everywhere, Welcome to Fischer Fest 2016 ! ! ! This year’s Gathering is going to be another stellar weekend of music in historic Fischer Hall and we are glad to have you with us. But first and foremost, we need to Thank You for helping us to make Fischer Fest 2015 the most successful one ever! It will go down in the record books, thanks to your generous contributions and hard work from all of our Staph. Due to your exuberant participation in the Silent Auction and Raffle, the 2016 Cabin 10 Bored will be able to fund our music scholarship on an ongoing basis!! This scholarship was last funded in 2009 when it was awarded to Sarah Jarosz, and has sense remained inactive Now, we will be able to revitalize this scholarship and offer it annually to promising artists/students in the area, to further their musical education. We are very proud to offer this in conjunction with our existing Art Scholarships and in keeping with our mission statement to further education in the Arts. So toss your hats in the air and pat yourselves on the back!! That is one milestone to be proud of! Next, you may have noticed that we have completely overhauled the website. We tried to make it more user- friendly and to more reflect the feel of the festival. The new site has areas for you to share your photos of the festival and areas where you can sign up to support us as a volunteer, sponsor or underwriter.
